Why don't you use cardboard applicators?

Although cardboard is perceived as more sustainable, we know from our extensive research that lots of our customers find cardboard applicators much less comfortable to use than plastic applicators.

We also know that often cardboard applicators are bleached and coated in plastic in the manufacturing process, meaning they aren’t as sustainable as you would first think!

We believe that it's up to brands to find sustainable solutions for their products, without customers having to sacrifice their comfort. That's why we developed an applicator made from a bio-based, renewably sourced plastic derived from sugarcane.

One of our core values is to leave an impact, not a trace, so innovation doesn't stop there! We're currently developing a fully compostable applicator, coming soon.
