Does the applicator break down into micro-plastics?

Great question! Right now, our applicator is made from a bio-based, sugarcane plastic. So far, this is the most sustainable option we've been able to find to create an applicator that's biodegradable, but still comfortable to use. However, the applicator will still break down into micro plastics.

One of our core values at Daye is leaving an impact, not a trace, so we're currently developing a fully compostable applicator. We are committed to being transparent about the materials we use, so we'll always share our innovation process with you at every step of the way!
